Enjoyable comedian autobiography, combining the typical content (behind-the-scenes industry drama interspersed with pop culture musings) with experiences of racism and thoughts on next steps for anti-racism in America. The book was written fresh off the election of Trump, and this is a frequent topic in the book. It feels a bit odd to read well into the Biden presidency; nothing he's discussed has actually changed but it doesn't feel as urgent - which like yes I'm glad I don't live in a much fear each day but also it feels like we squandered a moment.
