A Time to Seek by Tracy L. Higley

5.0

I like well-thought out time travel, interesting characters who struggle and grow and hang with interesting people and have a love relationship and well, go on some sort of an adventure too. Sahara Aldridge had the right amount of curiosity, spunk, and determination. A charming romantic potential. An interesting job. And secrets. Oh, my, the secrets.

I also found the double layer of history in this book fun. Set in the early 1940s, some of the characters were able to travel back in time to ancient Egypt. So, as reader, we get Egypt in the Old Kingdom, the Middle Kingdom, and the recent past.

I enjoyed everything about it, and look forward to having my remaining questions answered in the next two books. Satisfying as a stand alone.
