The Baby Dragon Café by A.T. Qureshi
lighthearted
- Loveable characters? Yes
2.5
I knew it was a romance, and I knew I probably wouldn't love it, and I still really wanted to read it. It's about baby dragons! In all honesty, I nearly put it down at the word "draggos," and I didn't love that the main character was called Saphira (given the connection that name already has with dragons). That being said, I thought Saphira was a great character, and I really liked her café. If she'd been an NPC in a D&D campaign, I'd have adored her. I also really liked most of the other people as well - it was lovely to have so many well-written female characters in one book. I just feel that romance novels don't have as much plot as other books I read, and there wasn't really a lot happening.
