What a fun, ambitious little tale. So many characters, all with varied and intriguing backgrounds, all very human and relatable (though perhaps each seem to fall into some sort of archetype). Hope among the hopeless, that endures in spite of the hopeless… it was examined in an interesting way and through the varied lenses of each character. Glad we saw much of the story through Mack’s eyes. I thought I was going in for a slasher, so was pleasantly surprised with what actually happened.
