poignant, moving, and thought-inspiring. im not sure i completely understand everything and will have to take a few days to sort my thoughts, but this left me with so many emotions and an intense hollowness.
i completely disagree with negative reviews on the pacing and the narration. klara’s voice is not dull - her childlike wonder and differing interpretation of what we take for granted in the universe was gripping to read. the pacing was perfectly fine, and i found i couldn’t stop reading. yes, there are things left unanswered but that doesn’t negatively impact the book or its message - perhaps we should learn ourselves that not everything has an answer.
