Audrey Young moves back to her hometown for a fresh start after losing her job. She’s working at the local newspaper and soon finds herself living next to Josiah Haven. Josiah is a grumpy lumberjack type who doesn’t want to be bothered with anyone, especially Audrey. Soon though, he can’t help but looking after her when someone starts stalking her.

I love Claire Kingsley but this definitely wasn’t a hit for me. I didn’t hate it but it wasn’t the best, in my opinion. It’s definitely a slow burn romance but it felt a little choppy.

This is the first in the Haven Brothers series and I will definitely continue once the other books are released.
