This book expertly dances along the precipe between fantasy and madness. But it does so with a wicked humor. At times the story appears to descend into madness itself and looses its plot. Most of the characters barely come to life and stay shadowy and unfinished. Mr Loveheart however is quite lovable in a weird way. All in all an entertaining book steeped in - at times too much - blood.
