I loved this quote because it was so perfectly Shepherd. This story was a fun, cozy romantasy, while also being super sexy with lots of gargoyle nesting. Thea and her sisters stumbled upon the town of Ever and were stunned to find out that its inhabitants were all monsters. As they tried to reconcile with their new reality, they were also thrust into a battle with an evil warlock intent on breaking the town's wards and enthralling its citizens. I loved how dedicated and protective Shepherd was; he was completely obsessed with his mate and wasn't afraid to make his intentions known. Despite Thea's shock, she's determined to protect Ever alongside her gorgeous gargoyle and discover her own monstrous identity. The connection between Thea and Shepherd was passionate and intimate, and I loved their easy and flirtatious relationship. I am so excited to continue this series and see Wren get her man!🖤
Tropes: fated mates, cozy romantasy, charming protective hero, fish-out-of-water heroine, touch her and die, magical small town, hidden identity, mating frenzy, dirty talk, found family, STEAMY🔥
