Whispers of the Lake
by Shanora Williams
This is a great story of friendship and family struggles, with some mystery thrown in. I hadn’t read anything by Shanora but I’m glad I was able to get an early copy from RB Media. Shanora really knows how to tell a story, and it sucked me in easily,
Rose is concerned because she hasn’t heard from her friend Eve. She puts her investigative reporter skills to use to attempt to track Eve down. All signs say that Eve is in trouble.
I enjoyed the dual female narration of this book.
