deenzy 's review for:
Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Thief
by Maurice Leblanc
Meh. I wasn't that impressed. I kept comparing him to Poirot in my head, and found Lupin's mysteriousness lacking and overall life of crime not that impressive. How he committed some of his thefts were stretches, even for me (how do you get an onion skin telegram into a boiled egg?). I think this might translate better in the Netflix show, but it was a 1.5 star read for me.
