This is a cute little holiday/winter book! After all the events in the first trilogy, it’s fun to see the little gang revert to normal life and settle down. If you’re looking for plot, this is not the book-it is literally fairies celebrating Christmas. But I liked the buildup between Nesta and Cassian, it makes me really excited to watch their relationship grow in the next book. Their buildup is really intriguing so I am very ready! Also, I did love hearing the other characters’ perspective aside from Feyre. I wish we got a little more of that in the original books, but it this did add charm to the characters we already love.
Overall, it’s to the a three star already love.because it really doesn’t do much for the plot and it’s just a little side quest. It’s fun if you love just reading the characters, but I need more . It’s cute, but I could take it or leave it!
