Beautifully crafted characters, and a plot that was going strong until the final courtroom scene. After a tense buildup, the final moments were rushed and abrupt, rather than playing out fully. And there were elements of a subplot that were left hanging with no resolution. Who was the wild-eyed old man, and was he involved in the fire? And Charlie?
