I enjoyed reading this book. I was excited to read this too as it's said to be a bit of a monster book and I have a pretty edition from my Fabled subscription.
The story is interesting eventhough the writing is just okay. I think I also found a few similarities to SJM's books. I also found Drue a bit annoying sometimes (most especially her choices!). I liked the side characters too (um Terrence hello?). Anyway, I finished this book at almost 5am and even though this is not the best fantasy book I've read, it makes me wish that Tel and Drue's book is a bit longer. I would've loved to see how Tel (and Drue?) leads the shadow touched people.
