I love this world and the characters. For some reason, the action-packed and meaningful storyline didn’t quite capture me. The ending didn’t impact me the way it seemed to intend. I was very impacted by Mama Agba and I found the Roen storyline interesting, though.
This was my 48th (or 46th depending on how you count) book of 2021! I read way more than I expected- and in a very busy year for me. It goes to show that I use reading as an escape more than a creative outlet or inlet.
