The Snake, the Crocodile and the Dog by Elizabeth Peters

Did not finish book.

I love this series, my favourites being the early ones and my least favourite the last handful of the series, but this one just . . . lost me. The plotline with Emerson left me cold, which is probably responsible for most of that feeling.
