2/5! Say you’ll remember me? This is the LAST thing I can say about this book. Ironically it’s very forgettable. I really didn’t enjoy the romance or the family drama elements of this book. If you read this, you know this couple in real life and they are so annoying. I didn’t find any of the characters to be likeable and maybe the instant love with no chemistry trope just isn’t for me. Felt like it was so low stakes despite a new family trauma being introduced every chapter. I was so excited to read my first Abby Jimenez book and now I’m nervous to read my next.
