there were A LOT of moving parts in this story and i really appreciated how present that made me feel. with all the timelines and POVs i really had to think and remember who was doing what in their previous chapters. and if too much time went by the authors first line returning to that character was a one sentence recap, reminding you where they left out & that was so appreciated!

i didn’t much care about anyone in particular but i was really invested in the mystery of it all and some of the reveals i openly gasped at.

i will absolutely be picking up more works from this author
