After the gasp-inducing ending of book one, Unbreakable picks up with Nova and the guys moving forward with their mission. Only now the objective has shifted somewhat to include taking down the man who twisted her childhood into something out of a horror movie - her father. They know he is determined to retrieve his greatest experiment and there is no end to the lengths he’s willing to go to get Nova back in his grasp. But Nova is about to show him that his greatest achievement could be his greatest downfall.

I already felt so bad for Nova and her men after the lives they’ve lived. Then here comes book two pouring more salt in their wounds. The horrible things that Nova has to endure in this book had my stomach doing flips. But the strength she exudes throughout its entirety is so inspiring that it made it easier to read through it. She is tough as nails with a heart of gold and I just adore her character.

Then of course there are the guys who are all so amazing in their own unique ways. Each one has an important role to play within their dynamic and they work together so well it’s sometimes easy to forget they’ve all come from pasts similar to Nova’s. But let me tell you none of them make me smile as much as Jonas! The guy is a special kind of unhinged but at the same time he’s like a little puppy! He’s just so freaking adorable I can’t stand it lol! Oh, and the fact that he likes his “toys” doesn’t hurt either… 😏

So yea it’s a great duet that is dark, has a feisty FMC, a wild group of guys, and a crap ton of spice! And I mean gooooood spice! 😉

*Don’t forget to check the TW on this one cause it absolutely has some dark moments.*
