Good read. Kind of annoying in parts because of the pacing of with the spicy bits. It can be a little cringey how overwhelmingly horny the mains are during preparation for BATTLES and WAR. The writing is a bit clunky in those parts as well.

That being said it picks up once the dragons are introduced. And the character development is not bad for the 1st book.
