Court of Claws by Briar Boleyn
5.0
*4.25-4.50 Stars*
Briar Boleyn definitely outdid herself with this book.
Book one, Queen of Roses set the stage for the Blood of a Fae series, but Court of Claws is double the size and doubles down on the world building. There are (obscure) moments of reminding the reader about specific details, but I do recommend reading book two right after book one.
There are a lot of new characters, visits from old characters and a roller coaster of events and emotions.
The author took a lot of time, effort and love creating such a rich story and it shows.
Just be warned, Briar loves her unexpected turns and cliff hangers.
