Part of the problem with binge reading a series is you get no time in between books to forget details. This means that for large chunks of time I felt that this was the same experience as reading the first two books, just with different characters.
There’s nothing inherently wrong with book three but Layla and Caleb didn’t have quite the same vibe as the previous two couples. My attention kept wandering, which is never a good sign. A lot of their issues could have been sorted by them talking to each other as adults, and there just was t enough about either of them/the story to keep me interested.
