4:50 from Paddington
by Agatha Christie
This book had a very exciting start and I was hooked, but it did lag in the middle when we are introduced to so many negative and boring characters. I loved Lucy and how Miss Marple includes her into this story and she quickly became a favorite of mine. I'd never actually read a Miss Marple tale and it's funny because she was barely in this book at all, rather she was the mastermind behind the scenes.
I kept trying to guess throughout this novel who the real culprit was and personally felt i had a very good handle on who it would be and yet I was wrong again, curses! I did find that the reveal to be a bit underwhelming and not make complete sense, but it was honestly just a fun enough and short romp that I didn't care much either way. I really love Agatha Christie and will continue to read her books for sure!
