this was so cute!! every single character (except you know who 😡😡) was delightful and so well fleshed out. i couldn’t put it down! i loved the pining, it’s something i’m constantly longing for more of in books, as well as the strong friendship foundation and of course grumpy x sunshine.
my only gripe is that i could definitely tell that it started as a reylo fanfic. i’m a big star wars fan and enjoy reading fics, but i wish i didn’t know going into it because i already had preconceived visuals of each character in my head. although they all had different names, i clocked very quickly who everyone was supposed to be and it kept pulling me out of the story in a way.
other than that, i adored this book. olive is a oblivious sweetheart, and adam is a (fake)grumpy angel and i think i’ve fallen in love with him too. (although i am biased already bc kylo ren. duh)
