Revenge, Ice Cream, and Other Things Best Served Cold by Katie Finn

2.0

Ok, no.
(Side note: I also skimmed through multiple parts of boredom...)

Multiple, multiple times I felt like screaming at Gemma, and her stupid flip flop back and forth. Her actions were wrong in the first placed, but it's like she could not stick to any one course at ALL.
Spoiler "Oh this guy is cute, but this guy and his dreamy eyes, but then this guy...." Then, "Maybe we should just walk away from all this, or maybe not. or Maybe yes. But I have all the money in the world to travel back and forth from Connecticut to the Hamptons so... I'll just come back for one final revenge plot that I'm going to (AT THE LAST MINUTE) decide I shouldn't do at all..."

This book was SO annoying, but I wanna read what happens next...
At least I won't be waiting around for it but, *she grudgingly sighs* the book has the effect to make you pick up the next one.

Side not: I don't believe either deserves the treatment they're giving to each other. There was a moment when this could have all stopped and they could have understood each other (they both seem nice despite the whole evil plots) and got over everything that had happened. Of course,
Spoiler It was the Dad's fault for dating Karen behind his daughter's back, which just shows you how dysfunctional all these people are in the first place. But of course, Gemma was a total brat to ruin Karen's good name and break them up, so they're pretty much all a mess...

I just really want to see how the author redeems everyone. I don't agree with the revenge theory at all, and it seems like everyone in the book was totally down to hurting other people for their own sick satisfaction. I really hope it isn't some cheesy, half baked ending like, "revenge isn't totally ok, but we're all good now so..."
