bookfey 's review for:
The Iron Raven
by Julie Kagawa
I do not recommend this book unless you are twelve years old.
It was a slow moving character driven story told in the first person point of view.
Unfortunately the main character, Puck, was really hard to connect with. He was filled with arrogant modern day cliched sayings. Not the kind of a Puck retelling I was looking for.
I think this would click more with a middle grade kid.
Not my jam. Will not be reading book two.
I basically skimmed the big battle in the last 35 pages because I was over it.
I just did not want to listen to this Puck anymore.
Still a beautiful cover lol.
