Under the Whispering Door by TJ Klune

5.0

Let's start with saying that i loved this book. I really like klune's writing style, his characters and the way he writes the romance parts. I admire the fact that in this book the conflict of the relationship isn't because of the characters, but for elements that they can't control.

NOW TO THE SPOILERY PART !!

I honestly thought that bringing wallace back to life wasn't going to be a good choice, because the entire message of the book was “ try to get a closure and accept your own death „ but because of the epilogue, with nelson and hugo's dog finally flying away because he understood that hugo wasn't alone, my thoughts have changed, i think that the ending was exceptional, unlike the house in the cerulean sea's one, where the epilogue didn't really match the rest of the book + i also really liked the director as a character !

in the end please, please read this book
(with trigger warnings though)
