After reading this and Project Hail Mary, I think I'm slowly realizing that I enjoy the structure of a amnesia-led plot, as the mystery slowly unravels for both the protagonist and the reader. The time jumps back and forth worked for creating intrigue, I never wanted to put the book down! It also felt reminiscent of It Ends With Us, but much much better.

Where it sort of loses points with me is that you can predict many of the plot lines early on and there are aspects that weren't developed enough (e.g. crime podcast, photography) so they felt corny when brought up. There were also early moments in the book that, after all is revealed by the end, don't make as much sense in looking back
(e.g. the impression given at the beginning of the book that Drew hadn't seen Evie since high school)
