Delightful, funny, sexy, and engaging.
Emily Shacklette deftly navigates a set up that could be SUPER problemmatic (a boss dating his assistant) for the relationship to feel real, considered, and acknowledging of the power imbalance -- enough to get you past potential discomfort and into the expertly written spice.
Bonus: as a former Bay Area resident, it gets SO MANY things right about SF and so many niche references, which I just loved.
