A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership
by James Comey
This most hated of characters from the 2016 Presidential election does some excellent mansplaining in this book. I especially enjoyed listening to the recording of this book. I think it is essential for understanding Comey's thinking as he goes step-by-step through his decision-making in telling the American public about Hillary Clinton's inappropriate and unlawful use of a private email server for classified information communications when she was Obama's Secretary of State.
Comey comes across as a straight arrow who knows how nerdy he is. He's a good guy who has spent most of a lifetime in public service, and he can tell a story. I recommend the book. I'm still seething about the timing of the Hillary server. I guess the book reminds me that my seething must be directed at Hillary. If only.
