If You Leave Me by Crystal Hana Kim

3.0

the unique setting and cool cover pulled me in, but while Kim treats her flawed characters with empathy and does a good job building up what differing identities are projected on our protagonist, I couldn’t quite make myself care about them. maybe because some major plot points come from others, are skipped over and recounted, or are from children’s perspectives? It was fine.
