A new favorite in the series?
Sikthand is the King of Vrulatica, and Sophia is his new political prisoner. Sikthand was betrayed by a woman before, and is doing everything he can to keep from feeling anything for this new little human in his life.
I loved both Sikthand and Sophia separately, but their journey together was my favorite of the series.
From Sophiaโs openness to this new society on Clecania, and Sikthand learning to trust again, the longing and tension between the two was just top notch.
I am also really enjoying the continued political upheaval humans have caused on Clecania, and Iโm looking forward to seeing how these human women will deal with it all.
And, of course, I still adore the narrator, Stephen Dexterโฆand his purring. โค๏ธ
