Did not finish book. Stopped at 66%.

The first few chapters really had me hooked, but when Val arrives to the Arctic and begins trying to communicate with the young girl found in the frozen ice, the interactions felt inconsistent and with no real nuance. Maybe I’ll go back to this at a later time.
