This series is criminally underrated. As of writing this review, I‘ve read it three times already. It‘s just such a hit for me.
It contains the types of characters that I absolutely love and the story kept me hooked the entire time, even on my re-reads.
I do have to say that this book and its sequels tackle some darker themes for a YA series, though. I love it, but one should be aware.
I had to subtract a star, though, because there‘s some parts in this book that do feel a bit rushed and like they‘re not really occurring naturally.
