although i loved most of the book, it was a laborious venture. there's a lot to love tho; all the colorful dialogue actually made me chuckle a few times, so grandiose and over-the-top at times, it was real funny for me,
the character dynamics were great and not too dull,
"Oh, my dear Basil,",
lots of fun stuff in this book. despite the dark shit that happens, of course. but even then i still found myself trying not to fall asleep during the first 150 pages, it definitely dragged at times for me. the last line tho, actually sold the entire book for me. that ending was worth it.
would read again
