Please Don't Sit on My Bed in Your Outside Clothes by Phoebe Robinson

3.0

I didn’t find this collection of essays as strong as some of Robinson’s earlier works and I didn’t feel like they were all the same caliber or that they even all went together. However, some of the essays, were 5 star essays on their own. I highly recommend reading the essays on not needing another White savior, traveling while Black and on deciding to be child free. Robinson is like the really smart friend you look forward to brunching with and I look forward to her future works.
