Make It Sweet by Kristen Callihan
2.0

This is the thing with Kristen Callihan, sometimes her book works for me sometimes it was just a total “meh” and this one sadly is the later. I tried, I really do. But there are too many things that drag the stars lower and lower.

At only 18% of the book, I already feeling bored. The background story of both main characters seems forced and hasty.

The way Lucien bakes sweets, at first, I ogled them at Google and craving it, but with THAT many, like 20/30 detailed sweets, from this 300pages of books? Well, too much is too much. But at least I know where the title came from.

Major down point is the hero itself, Lucien. He is so whiny, hates himself, and act like a child. He pushes and pushes Emma, then one day realized his life is miserable without Emma, and wanted to be with her, so he begs her to come back and she does. Emma is seriously the most patient character ever. I would have already kick his ass!

So yeah, 2 stars. Would not recommend this to anyone, but I would recommend other books by KC tho, like Idol and The Hook Up Plan.
