Us Against You by Fredrik Backman

5.0

I made myself slow down on this one, because I could have read it in two days. This one is as good, if not better, than Beartown. I like Backman's storytelling and the way he endears readers to his characters, the way he describes events and uses dialogue to demonstrate emotions and interactions between the characters.

This installment of the Beartown story was not all happy endings, and there's some pretty tragic stuff throughout the book; and despite being terrified that I'll never know what happens with Benji, who was my favorite character from the minute he entered the story in the first book, I'm excited to read the third book in this series.
