they weren't lying when they said none of the characters in this book are likeable, each one is flawed in their own way, but that's what makes it stand out to me. i love evil people. the ending was actually such a relief compared to the rest of the book. it's like finally being able to sit still after being on edge the entire time reading. i don't regret this being my first introduction to the gothic romance genre, but i wouldn't recommend this book because i strongly believe i should be the only one to ever read it/j
