I really enjoyed this book. It’s a light-hearted read. Harley has an innocence about her I couldn’t quite grasp - even though she’s prickly around the edges. At 19 yrs old - a couple of times there was a bit of a misalignment in the storyline - a bit of immaturity. This slight lag can be forgiven though with the overall uniqueness to the magic community. Yes - I could draw similarities to other books but the crux of the story, I feel, is unique. Will definitely check out book 2.
