A very fast-paced yet entertaining thriller story! From an outsider’s perspective, it is understandable to think that Korede’s choice to always protect her sister despite knowing that she’s a serial killer is stupid, but it also puts to question just how far are we willing to protect the ones we love.

It also brings up discourse on Korede’s dilemma on her sister’s misconduct (even though she’s basically an accomplice) or if she should understand where she’s coming from. Even though it’s broken into very short chapters, the author was able to precisely explain Korede’s predicament.
Also this may be just me, but I felt no ounce of sympathy for Tade lmaooo like aww that sucks he’s in jail but the way he treated Korede was so uncalled for. Like you only knew her sister for a few months TOPS know ur limits!!

Overall, loved a good fast-paced thriller and this was finally the book that broke me out of a 2 week reading slump.
