I honestly didn't like the book. The only reason i gave it 2 starts and not 1 is Dae and Nine, the only characters i liked.

But the book was bad. It was badly written, the world building was full of plot holes. The reveals that were supposed to be shocking weren't beacuse they are in the description of the book or you can tell through her nightmares.

I didn't like Arrie, he's an asshole, or the MC. She made some comments that felt biphobic, and she was very slut shamey and gave "i'm not like other girls" vibes.

The MC is genderfluid but the way gender fluidity was tackled seemd tacktless.
Also, the comment about the Witch HQ being in South Africa really annoyed me. It's not weird. It's the southern hemisphere, not another dimension.

I don't know if i'll read the rest of the saga. If i do it's because i'm a masochist.

I got a review copy from Story Origin.
