Bad Luck Bridesmaid by Alison Rose Greenberg
4.0

I was a little out off by the name but this story was not at all predictable. The protagonist was so easy to connect with. Someone who didn’t fit in during high school and used her differences to propel her career forward, embracing her individuality. My inner cynic was tickled by her take on marriage, and the book had many unexpected turns. Additional themes were self discovery, female friendship and vulnerability. My only complaint is that the ending felt a little rushed. It was an easy read with a refreshing protagonist and I laughed a lot.
