Arsène Lupin, Gentleman-Thief by Maurice Leblanc

4.0

Tales of a gentleman thief: he steals things but is a (witty) gentleman about it, and there are some things he can't stand...

I liked this. Not a lot of surprises, and not as strongly plotted as Sherlock Holmes, but all right: the stories go down easy. The sort of storytelling that soothes a bad day. Some fudging on clues.

Recommended for Sherlock Holmes fans.
