Onyx Storm was a rollercoaster of emotions, with so many twists and revelations.
There was never a dull moment, we always had something going on. This one dives a bit deeper into the backstories of some of our leads and our world. The lore and magical balance were fascinating, with some of the most mind-blowing reveals centered around that concept. I do still have a lot of questions but I liked that we gots some answers.
Ridoc’s loyalty and humor were my favorite! ❤️ I also loved how the romance was slowed down to build tension. It kept me motivated and I really appreciated it. I do hope to see more growth from them later in the series.
After that crazy ending, I’m definitely left with so many new theories and a LOT of questions. This book does a perfect job of setting up the next stage of the series, and I’m completely invested in seeing where things go from here.
