Locke & Key, Vol. 4: Keys to the Kingdom by Joe Hill
5.0
Locke and Key kicks it up a notch with everything coming to an explosive ending for this volume.
Up until now the Locke kids have gotten together to take down the evil forces around their town and in their own home. Dodge makes some big moves, and just when you think our heroes have a chance to find out what she/he really is...well let's just say things don't go there way. Plenty of high school drama, past reveals, murders and more all come to a head in this amazing volume.
And it is just that. Amazing. I enjoyed the series up till now but this is a fantastic volume with a lot of tension on every page. I really enjoyed the background, learning about Dodge, but it's when the Locke children are in danger that you really feel it. Not to mention the art is great, really adding a overall campy feel but when the violence strikes, it can be extremely disturbing.
I can't wait to read the final two volumes. THIS is amazing so far. A 5 out of 5.
