Mixed on how I feel. Started this series because of the anime, and the adaptation is faithful to the text, as far this volume goes, but I feel that both the anime and the light novel need each other for a viewer to get the full experience? Such as little details that might be missed here and there.
This is technically my first light novel, so maybe I’m just new to the genre and don’t have a feel for how these are meant to be read.
Still, I adore Maomao and Jinshi, and am excited to continue the series!
