Little Fish by Casey Plett
4.0
Whew, that was rough. Not the writing, that was lovely -- but Wendy's raging alcoholism and the constant sense of danger and precarity.
I think there were moments of sweetness around religion that were a little lost on me. I couldn't really understand what was going on between her and Anna.
But the friendships are redeeming, as is her relationship with her dad. Not all is horrible. But a lot of it is.
