This book series is so stressful. The protagonists are constantly getting snared into bigger and bigger traps... how are they possibly going to escape this time? In book 2, I continue to love the bromance. I missed characters from the first book, but the author introduced new characters that partially filled that void. The main caper was a different vibe from the first book, but that was also the point. Our protagonists had a lot of trauma to work out from book 1.
