Cinder by Marissa Meyer
4.0
This book is set during a futuristic pandemic which is chilling and hits home but I think that's my favorite part of this story.
I understood with this book being a Cinderella retelling I am going to know how some events happen but even with those aside the book was a bit predictable. That's why I knocked it a star. I believe by page 100 one could guess the entire books plot.
However, the writing and characters draw the reader into the story so well I wanted to finish reading despite the predictability. Cinder is a wonderful character. I love Iko too.
