Queen of Quarantine
by Susanne Valenti, Caroline Peckham
Woof. This book and series was THICK, but I am finally finished!
Queen of Quarantine is the final book in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series. This book follows Tatum and the boys' adventure as they continue to grow in their love for each other and on their journey for seeking vengeance. If you harm one Night Keeper, you'll feel the wrath of them all. The character development in Saint, Nash, Kyan, and Blake from books one to four was outstanding; I went from absolutely despising Saint to adoring him. I truly believe this is a craft that the sisters excel at in their writing.
Please keep in mind that this series has extremely dark themes as well as loosely follows the happenings of the COVID-19 pandemic. This might be trigger for some folks. Typically, dark content doesn't other me but I found this series extremely heavy and somewhat difficult to read due to some of the content. It is important that you read all content and trigger warnings prior to starting this series.
You might like this series if...
- You've read the rest of the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series... AKA Kings of Quarantine.
- You like reading dark romance books
- You like the "why choose" trope
- You enjoy extended epilogues... Caroline & Susanne are the BEST at this in their books.
Genre: Dark Romance, Bully-ish Romance
Tropes: Why Choose, Mine, Gangs All Here, Good vs. Evil
Stars: 4/5
